Chain link fences in Peoria
Chain link when you need a secure line for the least money per foot, from a backyard dog run to a business yard.
Galvanized or coated?
Bare galvanized steel is the budget choice. Coated fabric, usually black, looks much better next to a home and resists rust longer. Coated posts and rails finish the look.
Can chain link give privacy?
Only partly. Slats cut the view, and they add wind load, so the posts need to be sized for it. For real privacy we usually point people to another material.
What about businesses and job sites?
For a business we spec heavier gauge fabric, bigger terminal posts and wide drive gates, swing or rolling. Taller fences may need city review, so we check the zone first.
Chain link for lots and dog runs
Chain link is common for dog runs, side yards and commercial lots. Barbed wire is generally prohibited in Peoria outside agricultural and certain other uses, so we build without it.
